I am a researcher in social and personality psychology. I am broadly interested in understanding the various ways in which people may perceive and interpret science, society, and global events. In my current research, I mainly focus on the prevalence and the correlates of views, emotions, and behaviors related to environmental issues. My research interests also cover, for example, science denial and skepticism, psychological responses to corona pandemic, populism, and the re-emerge of the radical right.
Generally, my research has an interdisciplinary approach, with collaborations with researchers from various fields, including philosophy, demography, environmental science, political science, sociology, and history. Through these collaborations, the ambition is to examine the nuances and complexities of - and behind - some of the social and environmental challenges of our time.
